Alcohol and Drug Policy Action Circle

Tony was recently appointed the chair of the Prevention Subcommittee for Oregon’s Alcohol and Drug Policy Commission. We are developing an Action Circle to help in making progress on alcohol and drug prevention goals that can be applied in Oregon and modeled other places.

Goals:

·  Designing and implementing a strategy for training restaurant and bar servers and reducing youth access to alcohol tobacco and marijuana.

·  Reaching families who need it with evidence-based family interventions

·  Increasing the tax on alcoholic beverages

·  Reducing youth access to flavored starter tobacco products
